Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Reward dan Punishment Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Serta Dampaknya Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode survei dengan penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di perusahaan Aqiqah Elsyifa Pusat Cirebon. Sampel yang diambil dari penelitian ini yaitu sampel jenuh sebanyak 35 karyawan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala interval. Data hasil penelitian diolah menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Reward berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. 2) Punishment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. 3) Reward berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. 4) Punishment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. 5) Disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. 6) Reward berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui disiplin kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. 7) Punishment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui disiplin kerja sebagai variabel mediasi.

This study aims to determine the effect of reward and punishment on work discipline and its impact on employee performance. The method used in this study is a survey method with descriptive correlational research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at the company Aqiqah Elsyifa Pusat Cirebon. The sample taken from this study was a saturated sample of 35 employees. The data collection technique uses questionnaires with interval scales. The research data was processed using the SPSS application version 23. The results showed that 1) Reward has a positive and significant effect on work discipline. 2) Punishment has a positive and significant effect on work discipline. 3) Reward has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 4) Punishment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 5) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 6) Reward has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work discipline as a mediation variable. 7) Punishment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work discipline as a mediation variable.
