Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif sebagai desain penelitian. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden yang terdiri dari pegawai ASN dan Non ASN UPTD Puskesmas Kecamatan Jalaksana Kabupaten Kuningan. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan sampling jenuh, jumlah responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik uji asumsi klasik, regresi mediasi, analisis koefisien determinasi, uji hipotesis (Uji t ) sedangkan Path Analysis (analisis jalur) digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel motivasi kerja sebagai mediator.

Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja, stress kerja memiliki pengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Selain itu, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja merupakan variabel mediasi antara stres kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel motivasi kerja sebagai pengembangan dari penelitian sebelumnya, dengan tinjauan pustaka.

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress on employee performance, with work motivation as a mediating variable. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach as a research design. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents consisting of ASN and Non ASN UPTD employees, Puskesmas, Jalaksana District, Kuningan Regency. The research sample was taken using a sampling technique with saturated sampling, the number of respondents who participated in this study was 50 people. Data analysis was carried out using classical assumption test techniques, mediation regression, determination coefficient analysis, hypothesis test (t test) while Path Analysis (path analysis) was used to test the influence of work motivation variables as mediators.
The results of the analysis show that work stress has a significant positive influence on work motivation, work stress has a significant negative influence on employee performance and work motivation has a significant positive influence on employee performance. In addition, these findings show that work motivation is a mediating variable between work stress and employee performance. This study uses work motivation variables as a development of previous research, with a literature review.
