Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada karyawan pabrik ketemling Dua Dara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 49 responden. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket (kuesioner) dan pengukurannya menggunakan skala interval. Analisis data kuantitatif meliputi uji instrumen, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji hipotesis. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dan sobel test untuk menguji pengaruh variabel motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan alat bantu SPSS 23.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan, motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan motivasi kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan.

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of compensation on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable in employees of the Dua Dara ketemling factory. This research uses quantitative methods. The number of respondents in this study were 49 respondents. The sample used is saturated sampling. The data collection technique that the author used in this study was a questionnaire and the measurement used an interval scale. Quantitative data analysis includes instrument testing, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing. The analysis technique in this study uses path analysis and sobel test to test the effect of motivation variables as mediating variables). The data was analyzed using the help of SPSS 23.0 for windows. The results showed that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work motivation is able to mediate the effect of compensation on employee performance.
