Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan motivasi sebagai variabel motivasi pada Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Kabupaten Kuningan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 57 responden. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dan pengukurannya menggunakan skala interval. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear sederhana dan berganda, Pengujian hipotesis (Uji t dan Moderated Regression Analysis untuk menguji pengaruh variabel motivasi sebagai moderasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.dan motivasi signifikan memediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai.

This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of leadership on employee performance with motivation as a motivation variable at the Personnel “Badan Kepegawaian dan Sumber Daya Manusia Kabupaten Kuningan”. This research uses quantitative methods. The number of respondents in this study was 57 respondents. The sample used is saturated sampling. The data collection technique that the author uses in this research is a questionnaire and the measurement uses an interval scale. Data analysis was carried out using classic assumption testing techniques, simple and multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing (t test and Moderated Regression Analysis to test the influence of motivational variables as moderation). The research results show that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, leadership has a positive and significant effect on motivation, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and motivation significantly mediates the effect of leadership on employee performance.
