Abstract

Pentingnya pengembangan karakter pada peserta didik untuk menghadapi perubahan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang cepat dan menantang berkaitan dengan kompentensi abad-21. Profil Pelajar Pancasila menjadi upaya untuk mengembangkan karakter peserta didik, diantaranya bernalar kritis dan gotong royong. Namun fakta dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik belum ada penguatan keterampilan bernalar kritis dan sikap gotong royong karena model pembelajaran yang digunakan belum memfasilitasi penguatan keterampilan bernalar kritis dan sikap gotong royong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan bernalar kritis dan sikap gotong royong peserta didik setelah melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni pre-eksperimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest untuk mengukur keterampilan bernalar kritis sedangkan untuk mengukur sikap gotong royong yaitu dilakukan dengan observasi selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Sampel dalam penelitian diambil secara purposive dengan jumlah 70 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data adalah tes uraian dan lembar observasi sikap gotong royong serta pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan untuk menguji hipotesis keterampilan bernalar kritis yaitu uji non parametrik menggunakan wilcoxon signed rank test, sedangkan untuk sikap gotong royong menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata keterampilan bernalar kritis peserta didik 68,5 (cukup) sedangkan rata-rata sikap gotong royong peserta didik 87,5% (baik) dan nilai peningkatannya sebesar 0,52 dengan kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PBL dapat memfasilitasi peserta didik dalam penguatan nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila elemen bernalar kritis dan gotong royong.

The importance of character development in students to face rapid and challenging changes in science and technology is related to 21st century competence. The Pancasila Student Profile is an effort to develop the character of students, including critical reasoning and mutual cooperation. However, the facts in the field show that students have not strengthened their critical reasoning skills and mutual cooperation because the learning model used has not facilitated the strengthening of critical reasoning skills and mutual cooperation attitudes. This study aims to analyze students' critical reasoning skills and mutual cooperation attitudes after learning using the PBL model. The research method used is pre-experimental with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design to measure critical reasoning skills while to measure mutual cooperation attitudes, which is carried out by observation during learning. The sample in the study was taken purposively with a total of 70 students as an experimental class. The instruments used for data collection are description tests and observation sheets on mutual cooperation attitudes and learning. Data analysis was carried out to test the hypothesis of critical reasoning skills, namely a non-parametric test using the wilcoxon signed rank test, while for the attitude of mutual cooperation using percentages. The results of the study showed that the average score of students' critical reasoning skills was 68.5 (adequate) while the average mutual cooperation attitude of students was 87.5% (good) and the improvement value was 0.52 in the medium category. It can be concluded that learning using the PBL model can facilitate students in strengthening the value of the Pancasila Student Profile, elements of critical reasoning, and mutual cooperation.
