Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap disiplin kerja melalui kepuasan kerja. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai PNS Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Kuningan dengan sampel sebanyak 104 dan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah disiplin kerja yang terlihat dari pra survey bahwa tingkat kedisiplinan pegawai masih rendah yang dapat dilihat pada daftar absensi dimana masih banyak pegawai yang terlambat masuk kerja dan pulang lebih cepat dari jam kerja yang telah ditetapkan oleh kantor. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi analisis jalur (path analysis) yang digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh tidak langsung kepemimpinan terhadap disiplin kerja melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening menggunakan Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 25. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa angket fisik yang berisi pernyataan dan disebarkan langsung kepada responden melalui google form. Hasil pengujian dari hipotesis yang diajukan memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) Kepemimpinan secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. (2) Kepemimpinan secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. (3) Kepuasan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja. (4) Kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja melalui kepuasan kerja.

This research aimed to examine the direct and indirect influence of leadership on work discipline through job satisfaction. The sample in this research was civil servants from the Kuningan Regency Environmental Service with a sample of 104 and this research were obtain by saturated sampling technique. The problem in this research is work discipline which can be seen from the pre-survey that the level of employee discipline were still low which can be seen in the attendance list where that still many employees who are late for work and leave earlier than the working hours set by the office. This research used path analysis regression which was test the indirect influence of leadership on work discipline through job satisfaction as an intervening variable by used Statistical Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. This research instrument were taken by a physical questionnaire containing statements and distributed directly to respondents via Google Form. The test results of the proposed hypothesis concluded that (1) Leadership partially has a positive and significant effect on work discipline. (2) Leadership partially has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) Job satisfaction partially has a positive and significant effect on work discipline. (4) Leadership didn’t have a positive and significant effect on work discipline through job satisfaction.
