Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work overload dan kompensasi finansial terhadap semangat kerja dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada karyawan Minimarket Modern di Kabupaten Kuningan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Minimarket Modern yang tersebar di 102 gerai dengan jumlah 612 orang. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 242 orang dari 42 gerai yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan teknik probability sampling melalui metode cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dengan skala interval 1–10, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan Path Analysis (Analisis Jalur) dengan bantuan aplikasi IBM SPSS 26. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Work overload berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, 2) Kompensasi Finansial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, 3) Work overload berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Semangat Kerja, 4) Kompensasi Finansial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Semangat Kerja, 5) Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, 6) Kepuasan kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh Work overload terhadap Semangat Kerja, 7) Kepuasan kerja mampu memediasi pengaruh Kompensasi Finansial terhadap Semangat Kerja.

This study aimed to analyze the influence of work overload and financial com-pensation on work enthusiasm, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among modern minimarket employees in Kuningan Regency. The population con-sisted of all modern minimarket employees spread across 102 outlets, totaling 612 individuals. A sample of 242 employees from 42 outlets was selected using the Slovin formula with a probability sampling technique through the cluster random sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires using an interval scale of 1–10, and data analysis was conducted using Path Analysis with the IBM SPSS 26 application. The results indicated that: 1) work overload had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; 2) financial compensation had a posi-tive and significant effect on job satisfaction; 3) work overload had a positive and significant effect on work enthusiasm; 4) financial compensation had a posi-tive and significant effect on work enthusiasm; 5) job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on work enthusiasm; 6) job satisfaction was able to mediate the influence of work overload on work enthusiasm; and 7) job satisfaction was able to mediate the influence of financial compensation on work enthusiasm.
