Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir
kreatif siswa yang dicirikan oleh ketergantungan pada bacaan buku dan kurangnya
inisiatif dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan secara mandiri. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model Project Based Learning
(PjBL) berbasis Lesson Study terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VII
dalam mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 2 Cimahi. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain Non-Equivalent Control
Group. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelompok siswa, yaitu kelompok eksperimen
yang mendapatkan pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis Lesson
Study dan kelompok Control dengan model ceramah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan
bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif
antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok Control. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t
diperoleh �ℎ�����= 5,136 dan db-53, diperoleh ������ 1,673 dengan demikian
�
�ℎ����� > ������ (5,136 > 1,673). Artinya, Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir
kreatif antara kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan model project based learning
(PjBL) berbasis Lesson Study dengan siswa kelas Control yang mendapatkan model
ceramah. Perbedaan ini dapat dilihat dari kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada
kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan model Project Based Learning (PjBL)
berbasis Lesson Study memperoleh hasil lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa
kelas Control yang mendapatkan model ceramah. Oleh Karena itu, penggunaan
model Projec based Learning Berbasis Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan
kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.

The problem of this study is the low creative thinking ability of students
which is characterized by dependence on reading books and lack of initiative in
solving problems independently. This study aims to analyze the effect of
implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on Lesson Study on
the creative thinking ability of class VII students in social studies subjects at SMP
Negeri 2 Cimahi. The research method used is Quasi Experimental with a Non
Equivalent Control Group design. This study involved two groups of students,
namely the experimental group who received Project Based Learning (PjBL)
learning based on Lesson Study and the Control group with a lecture model. The
results of the analysis showed that there was a significant difference in creative
thinking ability between the experimental group and the Control group. Based on
the results of the t-test, t_count = 5.136 and db-53, t_table 1.673 was obtained, thus
t_count> t_table (5.136> 1.673). This means that there is a difference in creative
thinking ability between the experimental class that received the Project Based
Learning (PjBL) model based on Lesson Study and the Control class students who
received the lecture model. This difference can be seen from the creative thinking
ability of students in the experimental class who received the Project Based
Learning (PjBL) model based on Lesson Study obtained higher results compared to
students in the Control class who received the lecture model. Therefore, the use of
the Project Based Learning model Based on Lesson Study can improve students'
creative thinking abilities.
