Abstract

Peneliti ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada muatan matematika materi bangun datar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1). Untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model problem based learning dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model problem based learning. 2) Untuk mengatahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggnakan model problem based learning (Pbl) dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model problem based learning setelah perlakuan. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model problem based learning dan Variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar siswa. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Winduhaji tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Dengan jumlah keseluruhan adalah 50 orang. Yang terdiri dari 26 orang siswa kelas IV B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 24 orang kelas IV A sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji – t, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat perbdaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model problem based learning setelah perlakuan. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan hasil perhitungan Thitung (4,337) > Ttabel (2,011). Selain itu perbedaan hasil belajar siswa ditunjukan dengan hasil t gain diperoleh hasil Thitung (3,00) > Ttabel (2,011), sehigga terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan siswa kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning.

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the mathematichal content of plane figures. The aims of this research are : 1) To find out the difference in the increase in learning outcomes of experimental class students using the problem based learning model and the control class which does not use the problem based learning model. 2) To determine the differenc in the in crease in learning outcomes of experimental class students who use the problem based learning (PBL) model and the control class who do not use the problem based learning model after treatment. The independen vriabel in this research is the problem based learning model and the related variable is student learning outcomes.This research subjects in this study were class IV students at SDN 1 Winduhaji for th 2023/2024 academic year. With a total 50 people. Conisting of 26 students from class IVB as the experimental class and IVA as the control class. The data collection techniques used a test consisting of a pretest and posttest. The data analiysis techinques used in this study were normality test, homogeneity test, t test, and N gain. The results of this research show that there are difference in the learning outcomes of students who use the problem based learning model and the control class who do not use the problem based learning model after treatment. This is indicated by the results of the calculation of Tcount (4,337) > T table ( 2,011). In addition, diffrences in students learning outcomes are shown by the t gain results obtaind Tcount (3,00) > Ttable (2,011). So that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of experimental class students who use the problem based learning model compares to students who do not use problem based learning model.
