Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan kurikulum yang digunakan sebagai pedoman proses pembelajaran pada tahun 2020. Dengan adanya kurikulum tersebut, maka akan merubah isi buku teks yang digunakan oleh guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas. Buku teks adalah bahan ajar cetak yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Buku teks yang saat ini digunakan di sekolah yaitu buku teks yang diterbitkan oleh Kemendikbud dan Erlangga karena diterbitkan oleh dua penerbit berbeda, maka tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perbandingan kelayakan isi pada buku teks Bahasa Indonesia Kelas VIII Kurikulum Merdeka terbitan Kemendikbud dan Erlangga berdasarkan kriteria Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan, yaitu kesesuaian uraian materi, keakuratan materi, kemutakhiran materi, mendorong keingintahuan, praktikum dan kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pemerolehan data jenis studi pustaka dan dokumentasi serta teknik pengolahan data bentuk analisis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perbandingan kelayakan isi buku teks Bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII Kurikulum Merdeka terbitan Kemendikbud dan Erlangga dinyatakan memiliki kelayakan isi sesuai dengan kriteria yaitu kesesuaian uraian materi, keakuratan materi, kemutakhiran materi, mendorong keingintahuan, serta praktikum dan kewirausahaan. Dilihat dari hasil analisis menjelaskan bahwa buku teks terbitan Erlangga lebih lengkap dari buku teks terbitan Kemendikbud karena dalam buku teks terbitan Erlangga terdapat kelengkapan pengayaan. Namun, untuk pemilihan buku teks terbaik dikembalikan kepada kebijakan sekolah karena harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan proses pembelajaran.

Merdeka Curriculum is the curriculum used as a guideline for the learning process in 2020. With this curriculum, it will change the content of textbooks used by teachers in teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Textbooks are printed teaching materials used in learning. The textbooks currently used in schools are textbooks published by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Erlangga because they are published by two different publishers, so the purpose of this study is to describe how the comparison of the feasibility of content in Indonesian language textbooks for Class VIII of the Merdeka Curriculum published by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Erlangga based on the criteria of the National Education Standards Agency, namely the suitability of material descriptions, material accuracy, material currency, encouraging curiosity, practicum and entrepreneurship. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data acquisition techniques in the form of literature study and documentation and data processing techniques in the form of analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of the comparative feasibility of the content of Indonesian language textbooks for grade VIII of the Merdeka Curriculum published by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Erlangga, it is stated that they have content feasibility in accordance with the criteria, namely the suitability of the material description, the accuracy of the material, the currency of the material, encouraging curiosity, and practicum and entrepreneurship. Judging from the results of the analysis, it explains that the textbook published by Erlangga is more complete than the textbook published by Kemendikbud because in the textbook published by Erlangga there is complete enrichment. However, the selection of the best textbook is returned to school policy because it must be adjusted to the needs of the learning process.
