Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong pelaku usaha untuk beralih ke sistem digital, termasuk pada sektor perdagangan daging beku. Harvest Meatshop merupakan usaha penjualan daging sapi beku yang masih menjalankan proses pemasaran, pencatatan transaksi, dan pemesanan secara manual, sehingga berdampak pada keterbatasan jangkauan pemasaran, pengelolaan stok yang kurang efektif, serta pelayanan pelanggan yang belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem e-commerce berbasis web dengan model Business to Customer (B2C) pada Harvest Meatshop.
Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode prototype, yang memungkinkan proses perancangan dan evaluasi dilakukan secara berulang dengan melibatkan pengguna secara langsung. Sistem yang dikembangkan menyediakan fitur pengelolaan produk, manajemen pengguna, pemesanan online, pembayaran, pengelolaan stok, live chat, promosi, serta laporan penjualan. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode black box dan white box untuk memastikan fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai kebutuhan. Selain itu, dilakukan validasi rancangan program oleh pengguna yang menunjukkan bahwa sistem dinilai valid, mudah digunakan, dan sesuai dengan alur proses bisnis Harvest Meatshop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem e-commerce yang dibangun mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan penjualan, memperluas jangkauan pemasaran, serta meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan dalam melakukan transaksi.

The rapid development of information technology encourages businesses to adopt digital systems, including in the frozen meat trading sector. Harvest Meatshop is a frozen beef distributor that previously relied on manual processes for marketing, transaction recording, and order management, resulting in limited market reach, inefficient inventory control, and suboptimal customer service. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-commerce system using the Business to Customer (B2C) model for frozen beef sales at Harvest Meatshop.
The system was developed using the prototype method, which allows iterative design, evaluation, and refinement through direct user involvement. The proposed system provides key features such as product management, user management, online ordering, payment processing, inventory management, live chat services, promotional management, and sales reporting. System testing was conducted using black box and white box testing methods to ensure functional correctness and system reliability. In addition to technical testing, user validation was carried out involving system users at Harvest Meatshop. The validation results indicate that the system is valid, user-friendly, and aligned with the actual business processes. Overall, the implementation of the e-commerce system improves sales management efficiency, expands marketing reach, and enhances customer experience in conducting online transactions.
