Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dampak perilaku cyberloafing dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta memperoleh pemahaman tentang pengaruh moderasi Self-control dalam hubungan antara perilaku cyberloafing dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kasus yang sering terjadi di mana karyawan melakukan cyberloafing yang berdampak negatif terhadap kinerja mereka.
