Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika yang dimiliki peserta didik dan belum adanya penggunaan bahan ajar elektronik yang digunakan pendidik dalam pembelajaran sehingga menjadi salah satu alasan pengembangan E-modul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur dalam mengembangkan e-modul berbasis canva, mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan hasil pengembangan serta mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi bentuk aljabar. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VIIA SMPN 2 Cidahu. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dalam memperoleh data yang diperlukan yaitu lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, lembar respon pendidik dan peserta didik untuk mengetahui kepraktisan produk, serta uji N-Gain untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika. Validasi pengembangan e-modul dilakukan oleh tiga validator dengan dua validasi ahli materi dan satu validasi ahli media, dan untuk kepraktisan dilakukan oleh pendidik dan peserta didik. Hasil validasi berada dalam kategori sangat valid dengan nilai rata-rata validasi ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata 85,85%, dan ahli media 96,70%, serta hasil kepraktisan pendidik dan peserta didik masing-masing diperoleh nilai rata-rata 92,5% dan 75% berada dalam kategori sangat praktis dan prakis. Untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika setelah penggunaan e-modul dilakukan uji N-Gain. Hasil Uji N-Gain menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika setelah penggunaan e-modul dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 24 orang. Nilai pretest rata-rata sebesar 0.83 dan nilai posttest rata-rata sebesar 8.46 dengan nilai maksimam 15, sehingga nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,54 dalam kategori sedang yang menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik. Diharapkan e-modul digunakan pendidik untuk membantu peserta didik terlibat akif dalam proses pembelajaran.

The low ability to understand mathematical concepts possessed by students and the absence of the use of electronic teaching materials used by educators in learning so that it become one of the reasons for the development of E-modules. This study aims to describe the procedure for developing Canva-based e-modules, determine the validity and practicality of the development results, and determine the improvement of students' concept understanding abilities on algebraic form material. This development research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. This research was conducted in class VIIA SMPN 2 Cidahu. The instruments used in this study to obtain the necessary data are material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, educator and learner response sheets to determine the practicality of the product, and the N-Gain test to measure the improvement of mathematical concept understanding abilities. Validation of e-module development was carried out by three validators with two material expert validations and one media expert validation, and for practicality was carried out by educators and students. The validation results are in a very valid category with the average value of material expert validation obtained at an average of 85.85%, and media experts at 96.70%, and the results of the practicality of educators and students respectively obtained an average value of 92.5% and 75% are in the category of very practical and practical. To measure the increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts after the use of e-modules, the N-Gain test was conducted. The results of the N-Gain Test showed an increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts after the use of e-modules with a total of 24 students. The average pretest value is 0.83 and the average posttest value is 8.38 with a maximum value of 15, so the N-Gain value is 0.53 in the moderate category which indicates an increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts. It is expected that e-modules are used by educators to help students actively engage in the learning process.
