Abstract

Pelanggaran privasi pada perkembangan informasi di internet termasuk media sosial perlu diperhatikan. Salah satu bentuk pelanggaran privasi yang terus bertambah tiap tahunnya adalah doxing. Doxing merupakan perilaku mencari dan mempublikasikan data pribadi di internet. Perilaku ini dapat terjadi kepada siapapun, termasuk masyarakat biasa yang berpotensi menjadi pelaku dan korban dari doxing. Kurangnya media kampanye mengenai doxing dapat membuat masyarakat kurang paham terhadap keamanan privasi dari salah satu kejahatan siber ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pemahaman mengenai doxing bagi masyarakat dalam menjaga privasinya. Microblog dipilih sebagai bentuk implementasi kampanye untuk mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai perilaku doxing dalam upaya menjaga privasinya di media sosial. Perancangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara, studi literatur, dan kuesioner. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode AISAS dan diselesaikan dengan teori Design Thinking. Kampanye mengenai doxing dalam upaya menjaga privasi di media sosial diimplementasikan pada microblog Instagram dengan username @info_doxing. Hasil kampanye doxing dengan media microblog Instagram yang didapat dari kuesioner, menghasilkan data sebanyak 87,9% menganggap konten kampanye efektif, menarik serta komunikatif. Kampanye ini memberi edukasi terhadap audiens terhadap doxing sebanyak 90,2%. Kampanye doxing dalam menjaga privasi melalui media microblog Instagram ini berpengaruh positif terhadap minat audiens terhadap doxing.

Violations of privacy in the development of information on the internet, including social media need to be considered. One form of privacy violation that continues to increase every year is doxing. Doxing is the behavior of searc3hing for and publishing personal data on the internet. This behavior can happen to anyone, including ordinary people who have the potential to become perpetrators and victims of doxing. The lack of media campaigns regarding doxing can make the public less aware of the privacy security of this type of cybercrime. Therefore, it is necessary to understand doxing for the public to maintain their privacy. Microblogs were chosen as a form of campaign implementation to educate the public about doxing behavior in an effort to maintain their privacy on social media. This design uses descriptive qualitative methods with interviews, literature studies and questionnaires. The data was then analyzed using the AISAS method and completed using Design Thinking theory. A campaign regarding doxing in an effort to maintain privacy on social media was implemented on the Instagram microblog with @info_doxing as the username. The results of the campaign for regarding doxing through the Instagram microblog media obtained from the questionnaire produced data as many as 87,9% considered the campaign content effective, interesting, and communicative. This campaign provides education to the audience regarding doxing as much as 90,2%. The campaign about doxing to maintain privacy on social media through the Instagram microblog has had a positive influence on the audience's interest against doxing.
