Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk penentuan wali kelas menggunakan metode Fuzzy C-Means. Metode Fuzzy C-Means memiliki kemampuan dalam mengelompokkan data dengan tingkat ketidakpastian yang tinggi, sehingga dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih akurat dalam pemilihan wali kelas berdasarkan berbagai kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga klaster untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan, yaitu sangat layak, perlu dipertimbangkan, dan tidak layak. Kriteria yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini mencakup aspek keterampilan komunikasi (C1), pemahaman kompetensi (C2), pengalaman mengajar (C3), tanggung jawab (C4), kemampuan manajemen (C5), dan jumlah jam mengajar (C6). Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai tertinggi terdapat pada data ke 6 dengan nilai cluster 0,68, sedangkan data terendah ada pada data ke-3 dengan nilai cluster 0,34. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu membantu pihak sekolah dalam menentukan wali kelas secara lebih objektif dan efisien. Pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Fuzzy C-Means dalam SPK ini dapat mengelompokkan guru dengan lebih baik berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang relevan, seperti pengalaman mengajar, kemampuan manajerial, dan kedekatan dengan siswa. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam mendukung pengambilan keputusan di SMK Auto Matsuda.

This research develops a Decision Support System (DSS) for determining homeroom teachers using the Fuzzy C-Means method. The Fuzzy C-Means method has the ability to group data with a high level of uncertainty, so that it can provide more accurate results in selecting homeroom teachers based on various predetermined criteria. This research uses three clusters to support decision making, namely very feasible, needs to be considered, and not feasible. The criteria applied in this research include aspects of communication skills (C1), understanding of competence (C2), teaching experience (C3), responsibility (C4), management ability (C5), and number of teaching hours (C6). The research results show that the highest value is in the 6th data with a cluster value of 0.68, while the lowest data is in the 3rd data with a cluster value of 0.34. It can be concluded that the system built is able to assist the school in determining homeroom teachers more objectively and efficiently. System testing shows that the use of the Fuzzy C-Means method in this SPK can better group teachers based on relevant criteria, such as teaching experience, managerial ability, and closeness to students. Thus, it is hoped that this system can become an effective tool in supporting decision making at Matsuda Auto Vocational School.
