Abstract

Pada peternakan ayam, kesehatan ayam sangat dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan seperti suhu pada kandang, di mana dapat mengakibatkan heat stress pada ayam yang berujung pada kematian dan tentunya akan menurunkan performa produksi. Salah satu peternakan ayam broiler di Jalan Raya Muncangela Cipicung, Kabupaten Kuningan milik Bapak Unu juga menghadapi masalah yang sama. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan Bapak Unu, terungkap bahwa heat stress pada ayam seringkali menjadi masalah yang dihadapi pada peternakannya. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini membuat sistem pengaturan suhu otomatis berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dan menerapkan algoritma fuzzy untuk pengaturan suhu kandang berdasarkan umur ayam. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara, serta menggunakan metode pengembangan prototyping dengan perancangan sistem menggunakan UML yang terdiri dari use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, dan sequence diagram. Dan menghasilkan aplikasi untuk pengaturan suhu otomatis pada kandang ayam yang memiliki fitur untuk menurunkan suhu dengan menggunakan kipas dan menaikan suhu dengan menggunakan lampu pijar. Berdasarkan pengujian User Acceptance Test (UAT) sebesar 84% menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dapat digunakan untuk pengaturan suhu berdasarkan umur ayam.

On a chicken farm, the health of chickens is significantly influenced by environmental conditions, such as the temperature in the coop. High temperatures can cause heat stress in chickens, leading to mortality and reduced production performance. This issue is also faced by a broiler chicken farm on Jalan Raya Muncangela Cipicung, Kuningan Regency, owned by Mr. Unu. In an interview, Mr. Unu revealed that heat stress is a common problem on his farm. To address this, a research project developed an automatic temperature control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT), utilizing a fuzzy algorithm to regulate coop temperature according to the age of the chickens. The data collection methods included literature review, observation, and interviews, while a prototyping development method was employed. The system design was created using UML, incorporating use case diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams. The resulting application for automatic temperature control in chicken coops features mechanisms to lower the temperature using fans and raise it using incandescent lamps. Based on User Acceptance Test (UAT) results, with a score of 84%, the application has been proven effective in regulating coop temperature according to the age of the chickens.
