Abstract

SMK Cibening has yet to establish a structured Information System and Information Technology (IS/IT) plan, resulting in data management and administrative processes across service units that remain unintegrated. This study aims to develop a Strategic IS/IT plan using the Ward and Peppard method to align with the school's business needs and objectives. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques comprising observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The analysis is conducted using Value Chain, PEST, SWOT, and McFarlan Strategic Grid to identify business conditions, information needs, and priorities for information system development. The findings reveal a significant gap between the current IS/IT conditions and the school's business requirements, particularly in data integration, administrative automation, and decision-making Support. This study produces IS/IT strategy recommendations and an application portfolio mapped using the McFarlan Strategic Grid, with priority given to the Integrated School Information System and a Cloud-Based Centralized Data Management System, accompanied by a three-year implementation roadmap to guide IS/IT development at SMK Cibening.
