Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Konveksi Moon Light untuk membantu pengendalian persediaan bahan baku yang sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga sering terjadi kesalahan pencatatan stok, keterlambatan informasi, dan kekurangan bahan baku yang dapat menghambat proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sistem informasi Supply Chain Management (SCM) berbasis web dengan menerapkan metode Safety Stock untuk menentukan batas minimum persediaan bahan baku. Sistem yang dibangun dapat digunakan untuk mengelola data produk, bahan baku, supplier, distributor, transaksi pembelian, dan pemesanan produk secara terintegrasi. Metode Safety Stock digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah persediaan pengaman guna mengantisipasi keterlambatan pengadaan bahan baku dan peningkatan kebutuhan produksi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh nilai safety stock sebesar 262 meter. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan perlu menyediakan persediaan pengaman sebanyak 262 meter agar proses produksi tetap berjalan lancar dan risiko kehabisan stok dapat diminimalkan. Selain itu, sistem menyediakan fitur monitoring stok secara realtime dan notifikasi stok menipis sehingga membantu proses pengadaan bahan baku menjadi lebih cepat dan terarah.

This research is conducted at Moon Light Convection to improve the control of raw material inventory, which is previously managed manually, resulting in stock recording errors, delays in information, and shortages of raw materials that can disrupt the production process. This study aims to develop a web-based Supply Chain Management (SCM) information system by implementing the Safety Stock method to determine the minimum limit of raw material inventory. The developed system can be used to manage product data, raw materials, suppliers, distributors, purchasing transactions, and product orders in an integrated manner. The Safety Stock method is used to calculate safety inventory in order to anticipate delays in raw material procurement and increases in production demand. Based on the calculation results, the safety stock value obtained is 262 meters. These results indicate that the company needs to provide 262 meters of safety stock to ensure the production process runs smoothly and to minimize the risk of stock shortages. In addition, the system provides realtime stock monitoring features and low stock notifications to support faster and more effective raw material procurement processes.
