Penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas 5 SDN 11 Kuningan, disebabkan oleh kegiatan proses pembelajaran yang masih didominasi dengan metode ceramah hal ini membuat peserta didik menjadi jenuh dan tidak aktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS (Children Learning in Science) dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS (Children Learning in Science). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Pre-Eksperimen. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SDN 11 Kuningan yang berjumlah 15 siswa. Instrument pengumpulan data meliputi tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis, dalam uji hipotesis terdapat uji korelasi dan Uji N-Gain. Hasil uji-t menggunakan uji korelasi diperoleh Rhitung (0,19707) > 0 sehingga HO ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan analisis N-Gain menunjukan bahwa hasil nilai nilai pre-test dan post-test pada kelas 5 diperoleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,75. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas 5 meningkat dengan kriteria “Tinggi”.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS (Children Learning in Science) pada siswa kelas 5 SDN 11 Kuningan.

This research was based on the low learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for the 5th grade at SDN 11 Kuningan, which was caused by the learning process being dominated by the lecture method, leading to student boredom and inactivity. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect on student learning outcomes after using the CLIS (Children Learning in Science) learning model and to assess the improvement in student learning outcomes after implementing the CLIS model. This type of research was quantitative with a pre-experimental design. The subjects of this study were 15 students from the 5th grade at SDN 11 Kuningan. The data collection instruments included tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used normality tests and hypothesis tests, which included correlation tests and N-Gain tests. The results of the t-test using the correlation test showed that Rhitung (0.19707) > 0, thus H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This indicated that there was an effect on student learning outcomes after using the CLIS learning model. Meanwhile, the N-Gain analysis calculations indicated that the pre-test and post-test scores for the 5th grade yielded an N-Gain value of 0.75. This showed that the improvement in student learning outcomes in the 5th grade was categorized as "High." The conclusion of this study was that there was an effect and improvement in student learning outcomes after using the CLIS (Children Learning in Science) learning model for the 5th grade students at SDN 11 Kuningan.
