Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengembangan kreativitas siswa dalam
proses pembelajaran disekolah dasar. Salah satu model yang diyakini mampu
meningkatkan berpikir kreatif dan kreativitas siswa adalah model pembelajaran Project
Based Learning (PjBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas
penerapan model PJBL dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa kelas V SDN 1
Purwawinangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-
equivalent control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas VB sebagai
kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning, dan kelas VA sebagai
kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model Direct Instruction. Instrumen penelitian berupa
soal pretest dan posttest berbentuk uraian, serta lembar penilaian kreativitas produk. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen
dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 8,84 > 01,68, yang
berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Selain itu, nilai N-Gain
kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,70 (kategori tinggi), sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,14
(kategori rendah). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project
Based Learning memberikan pengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa
sekolah dasar.

This study was motivated by the importance of developing students' creativity in the
learning process at the elementary school level. One approach believed to enhance students'
creativity is the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The purpose of this research is to
determine the effectiveness of implementing the PjBL model in enhancing the creativity of
fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Purwawinangun. This research employed a quasi-
experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects consisted of
two classes: class VB as the experimental group using the Project-Based Learning model,
and class VA as the control group using the Direct Instruction model. The research
instruments included pretest and posttest essay questions, as well as product creativity
assessment sheets. The results indicated a significant difference between the experimental
and control classes. The t-test showed a significance value of 8.84 > 1.68, indicating a
significant difference between the two groups. Additionally, the N-Gain score for the
experimental class was 0.70 (high category), while the control class scored 0.14 (low
category). Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project-Based
Learning model has a positive effect on enhancing the creativity of elementary school
students.
