Abstract

Pendakian gunung merupakan kegiatan yang menuntut persiapan yang matang, termasuk dalam hal pendaftaran dan persiapan logistik. Namun, sistem pendaftaran online yang digunakan di PPGC Ciremai seringkali mengalami masalah, seperti human error dalam penginputan data dan kemampuan melakukan pendaftaran meskipun batas kuota pendakian telah terpenuhi. Selain itu, kekurangan pengetahuan tentang jalur pendakian juga dapat mengingkatkan resiko tersesat bagi pendaki.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis Android dengan mengimplementasikan algortima Apriori untuk merekomendasikan pemandu gunung atau porter. Algoritma Apriori diimplementasikan untuk memperhitungkan preferensi dan kebutuhan pendaki, serta memberikan rekomendasi yang sesuai berdasarkan data historis pendakian.
Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Rapid Appilcation Development (RAD) untuk memungkinan pengembangan aplikasi dan responsif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan. Studi kasus dilakukan di Pos Pendakian Gunung Ciremai (PPGC) Palutungan.
Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil mengurangi human error dalam penginputan data dan mencegah pendaftaran ketika kuota pendakian telah terpenuhi. Selain itu, rekomendasi yang diberikan oleh algoritma Apriori membantu mengurangi risiko tersesat dan mempersiapkan perbekalan yang sesuai bagi para pendaki.
Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan keselamatan pendakian gunung melalui penerapan teknologi informasi yang tepat.

Mountain climbing necessitates thorough preparation, encompassing registration and logistical arrangements. However, the prevalent online registration system often encounters issues like human errors in data input and permitting registration even when the climbing quota is full. Moreover, insufficient knowledge about climbing routes raises the likelihood of climbers getting lost.
To address these challenges, this study aims to develop an Android application using the Apriori algorithm. This algorithm aims to recommend mountain guides or porters by analyzing climbers' preferences and historical climbing data.
Implementing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology facilitates swift and adaptable system development, tailored to evolving needs. The application's efficacy is assessed through a case study at the Mount Ciremai Climbing Post (PPGC) in Palutungan.
Test findings reveal that the application significantly reduces human errors in data input and prevents over-registration when the climbing quota is reached. Additionally, recommendations generated by the Apriori algorithm mitigate the risk of getting lost and facilitate appropriate provisioning for climbers.
