Penelitian ini dilator belakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menulis siswa dalam menulis teks narasi. Rendahnya keterampilan tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, di antaranya adalah rendahnya minat menulis siswa, serta ketidak mampuan siswa dalam mengungkapkan ide dan gagasannya ke dalam sebuah karangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan peningkatan menulis teks narasi peserta didik di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode quantum writing dengan kelas control yang menggunakan metode ceramah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain Non Equivalent Control Group Desain. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quantum writing dan variable terikatnya adalah keterampilan menulis teks narasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Cijagamulya tahun ajaran 2024/2025 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa 26 dan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Ciomas tahun ajaran 2024/2025 sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan jumlah keseluruhan siswa 21. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang terdiri dari pre-test dan post-test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji normalitas, uji homogen, uji t, uji hipotesis, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian dan pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan dan peningkatan kemampuan menulis peserta didik di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode quantum writing dengan peserta didik di kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah. This research is motivated by the low writing skills of students in writing narrative texts. The low skills are caused by several factors, including the low interest in writing among students and the inability of students to express their ideas and thoughts into a composition. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences and improvements in narrative writing of the students in the experimental class using the quantum writing method compared to the control class using the lecture method. This research uses a Quasi-Experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The independent variable in this study is the quantum writing method, and the dependent variable is the narrative writing skills. The subjects of this study are fourth-grade students of Cijagamulya Elementary School for the academic year 2024/2025 as the experimental class, with a total of 26 students, and fourth-grade students of Ciomas Elementary School for the academic year 2024/2025 as the control class, , with a total of 21 students. The data collection technique used a test consisting of a pre-test and a post-test. The data analysis techniques used in this study are normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, hypothesis test, and N-Gain test. The results of the research and hypothesis testing indicate that there is a difference and improvement in the writing skills of students in the experimental class using the quantum writing method compared to students in the control class using the lecture method.
