Abstract

SMP Negeri 2 Lebakwangi berlokasi di Jl. Raya Pasayangan, Kecamatan Lebakwangi. Dalam proses pembelajaran, sekolah ini menerapkan tiga metode yaitu ceramah, buku paket, dan media YouTube. Namun, setiap metode memiliki tantangan masing-masing. Selain itu, proses evaluasi pembelajaran dinilai kurang efektif karena soal latihan yang sama sering digunakan, sehingga rawan terjadinya kecurangan dan koreksi manual yang dilakukan oleh guru memakan waktu yang lama. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, peneliti membuat aplikasi media pembelajaran tambahan berbasis Android yang menyajikan visualisasi pergerakan katrol dalam bentuk animasi 3D. Aplikasi ini juga dilengkapi dengan fitur latihan soal yang disusun secara acak menggunakan algoritma Linear Congruent Method. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem Prototype dan Unified Modeling Language sebagai metode perancangan sistem. Hasil dari pengujian User Acceptance Test (UAT) menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mendapat tanggapan positif dari pengguna dengan total 22 responden dan hasil presentase 93,45% serta guru 98% dan aplikasi ini dapat menjadi media pembelajaran tambahan materi katrol.

SMP Negeri 2 Lebakwangi located on Jl. Raya Pasayangan, Lebakwangi District. In the learning process, this school applies three methods, namely lectures, textbooks, and YouTube media. However, each method has its own challenges. In addition, the learning evaluation process is considered ineffective because the same practice questions are often used, so it is prone to cheating and manual corrections made by teachers take a long time. To overcome these problems, researchers created an additional Android-based learning media application that presents a visualization of pulley movements in the form of 3D animation. This application is also equipped with a practice question feature that is arranged randomly using the Linear Congruent Method algorithm. This study uses the Prototype system development method and Unified Modeling Language as a system design method. The results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT) test showed that the application received a positive response from users with a total of 22 respondents and a percentage result of 93.45% and teachers 98% and this application can be an additional learning media for pulley material.
