Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran di SD 1 Margamukti masih kurang optimal dan belum mencapai tujuan nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan : (1) Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil pendekatan keterampilan proses pada kelas eksperimen dengan pendekatan kontekstual Learning pada kelas kontrol terhadap hasil belajar siswa, (2) Untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil pada kelas eksperimen melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses dengan kelas kontrol melalui pendekatan kontekstual Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada muatan IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental dan desain non-equivalent control group. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Margamukti. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 soal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil pendekatan keterampilan proses pada kelas eksperimen dengan pendekatan kontekstual Learning pada kelas kontrol terhadap hasil belajar siswa,
(2) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil pada kelas eksperimen melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses dengan kelas kontrol melalui pendekatan kontekstual Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada muatan IPS.

The background to this research is that learning at SD 1 Margamukti is still less than optimal and has not achieved the expected minimum completeness criteria. This research aims to describe: (1) To find out whether there is a difference in the results of the process skills approach in the experimental class with the contextual learning approach in the control class on student learning outcomes, (2) To find out whether there is a difference in improving results in the experimental class through the process skills approach with the control class using a contextual learning approach to the learning outcomes of class IV students on social studies content. This research uses a quantitative method approach with a quasi- experimental research type and a non-equivalent control group design. The variables in this research were fourth grade students at SDN 2 Margamukti. The data collection used in this research was a test instrument in the form of 10 multiple choice questions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that:
(1) there is a difference in the results of the process skills approach in the experimental class with the contextual learning approach in the control class on student learning outcomes, (2) there is a difference in the increase in results in the experimental class through the process skills approach and in the control class through the contextual learning on the learning outcomes of class IV students on social studies content.
