Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran self control dalam memediasi stress kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap perilaku cyberloafing pada karyawan generasi Z. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Ukuran sampel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari Karyawan Generasi Z yang bekerja pada perusahaan ritel di Kecamatan Maja yaitu sebanyak 66 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuisioner melalui google form yang menggunakan skala interval. Data tersebut diolah menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 23. Penelitian menemukan bahwa (1) stress kerja berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap self control, (2) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap self control (3) Stress kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku cyberloafing (4) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap perilaku cyberloafing (5) Self control berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap perilaku cyberloafing (6) Self control mampu memediasi pengaruh stress kerja terhadap perilaku cyberloafing (7) Self control mampu memediasi pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap perilaku cyberloafing

This study aims to determine and analyze the role of self controlin mediating work stress and work environment on cyberloafin behavior in generation Z employees. The method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The sample size in this study consisted of Generation Z employees who work at retail companies in Maja District, namely 66 people who were determined using the saturated sample technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Form using an interval scale. The data was processed using SPSS version 23 software. The study found that (1) work stress has a negative and significant effect onself control, (2) The work environment has a significant positive influence onself control(3) Work stress has a positive and significant effect on behavior.cyberloafing(4) The work environment has a negative and significant influence on behavior.cyberloafing (5) Self controlhas a negative and significant effect on behaviorcyberloafing (6) Self control able to mediate the influence of work stress on behaviorcyberloafing (7) Self control able to mediate the influence of the work environment on behaviorcyberloafing
