RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PEMBELAJARAN SIMPLE TENSES MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA BRUTE FORCE BERBASIS ANDROID.

Abstract
Media pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMPN 1 Lebakwangi, khususnya materi simple tenses, masih menggunakan buku paket dan penjelasan langsung dari guru. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui soal isian di media kertas, namun 65,1% siswa belum mampu mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Guru juga mengalami kesulitan dalam memeriksa jawaban soal isian karena setiap siswa memberikan jawaban yang berbeda, sehingga proses penilaian membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membangun aplikasi simple tenses berbasis Android untuk memudahkan siswa dalam belajar, dan bagaimana mengimplementasikan algoritma Brute Force untuk mencocokkan string jawaban siswa dengan kunci jawaban dalam sistem penilaian otomatis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran alternatif berupa aplikasi simple tenses berbasis android dengan mengimplementasikan Algoritma Brute Force untuk sistem penilaian quiz. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah prototype dengan tahapan Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype, dan Deployment Delivery & Feedback. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian User Acceptance Test (UAT) menunjukkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 89,06%. Aplikasi ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan latihan, serta mampu membantu guru dalam memeriksa jawaban secara otomatis menggunakan algoritma Brute Force.

The English learning media at SMPN 1 Lebakwangi, particularly for simple tenses material, still relies on textbooks and direct explanation from teachers. Evaluation is conducted through fill-in-the-blank questions on paper, but 65.1% of students have not achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Teachers also face difficulties in checking students' answers, as each student often provides different variations, making the assessment process time-consuming. The problems addressed in this study are how to develop a simple tenses Android-based application to facilitate student learning, and how to implement the Brute Force algorithm to match student answers with the answer key in an automatic assessment system. This study aims to develop an alternative learning medium in the form of a simple tenses Android application by implementing the Brute Force algorithm for quiz evaluation. The system development method used is the prototype model with the stages of Communication, Quick Plan, Modeling Quick Design, Construction of Prototype, and Deployment Delivery & Feedback. Based on the results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT), a feasibility percentage of 89.06% was obtained. The application is considered feasible to be used as a learning and practice medium and can assist teachers in automatically checking answers using the Brute Force algorithm.
