Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan internet telah mendorong perubahan besar dalam dunia bisnis, termasuk pada sektor ritel seperti Toko Ragam Busana Kuningan. Toko ini masih melakukan penjualan secara konvensional, di mana pelanggan harus datang langsung ke toko dan pencatatan transaksi masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal ini membatasi jangkauan pasar dan kurang mendukung efisiensi operasional toko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem e-commerce berbasis web dengan model Business-to-Customer (B2C) guna mengoptimalkan penjualan dan memperluas cakupan pasar. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah model Waterfall, dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL. Perancangan sistem menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) dan pengujian dilakukan dengan metode white box dan black box untuk memastikan fungsionalitas dan keandalan sistem. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun mampu mendukung operasional toko melalui otomasi proses bisnis, penyediaan informasi produk secara jelas, serta memperluas jangkauan pasar melalui platform digital.

The advancement of technology and the internet has brought significant changes to the business world, including the retail sector such as Toko Ragam Busana Kuningan. This store still operates conventionally, where customers must visit in person and transactions are recorded manually. This limits market reach and reduces operational efficiency. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-commerce system using the Business-to-Customer (B2C) model to optimize sales and expand market reach. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, with PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The system design applies the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and testing is carried out using white box and black box methods to ensure functionality and reliability. The implementation results show that the developed system can support store operations through business process automation, provide clear product information, and broaden market reach through a digital platform.
