Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengasumsikan bahwa lingkungan belajar di sekolah yang baik dan kondusif dapat memengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang baik pula. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara lingkungan belajar di sekolah dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar di wilayah Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian korelasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh yang berarti seluruh populasi digunakan sebagai sampel yaitu sebanyak 95 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu angket lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan tes essay matematika. Expert Judgment digunakan untuk menilai validitas isi instrumen. Untuk menguji hubungan antara kedua variabel maka data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas data Kolmogorov Smirnov. Uji hipotesis korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat lingkungan belajar di sekolah dengan rata-rata sebesar 79,91% pada kategori tinggi. Sedangkan tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dengan rata-rata sebesar 50,37% pada kategori rendah. Hasil pengujian hipotesis memperoleh rhitung 0,276 dengan rtabel 0,202. Karena rhitung > rtabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara lingkungan belajar di sekolah dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa sekolah dasar yang memiliki hubungan rendah.

The research was conducted by assuming that a good and conducive learning environment at school could influence students' mathematical problem-solving abilities positively. The purpose of this research was to determine whether there was a positive connection between the learning environment at school and the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fourth-class elementary school students in the Ki Hajar Dewantara area. The research method used in this study was a survey with a quantitative approach and a correlational research type. The sample in this study used a saturated sampling technique, meaning the entire population was used as a sample, totaling 95 students. The instruments used to collect data were a questionnaire about the learning environment at school and a mathematics essay test. Expert judgment was used to assess the content validity of the instruments. To test the connection between the two variables, the data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test. The hypothesis test used was the product moment correlation. The results of the study showed that the level of the learning environment at school had an average of 79.91%, which fell into the high category. Meanwhile, the level of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities had an average of 50.37%, which fell into the low category. The hypothesis testing results obtained an r count of 0.276 with an r table of 0.202. Because r count > r table, it could be concluded that there was a positive connection between the learning environment at school and the mathematical problem-solving abilities of elementary school students, which had a low connection.
