Abstract

Pengelolaan persediaan sparepart yang kurang optimal dapat menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti kekurangan stok (stockout) atau kelebihan stok (overstock), yang berdampak pada terganggunya pelayanan serta menurunnya kepuasan pelanggan. Bengkel Kuncoro Motor merupakan bengkel yang masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam pencatatan transaksi dan pengelolaan persediaan, sehingga kerap mengalami kendala terkait ketersediaan sparepart. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem informasi pengendalian persediaan berbasis website menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel dan database MySQL, serta menerapkan metode Min-Max dalam proses pengendalian stok. Metode Min-Max digunakan untuk menentukan batas minimum dan maksimum stok berdasarkan data penggunaan sparepart selama tiga bulan terakhir, sehingga sistem dapat memberikan rekomendasi waktu pemesanan ulang yang lebih akurat. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa metode Min-Max mampu membantu bengkel dalam mengoptimalkan pengelolaan persediaan, meminimalkan risiko stockout dan overstock. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diketahui bahwa sebelum penerapan metode Min-Max, sebagian besar sparepart belum memiliki jumlah stok yang sesuai dengan batas optimal, di mana beberapa item mengalami overstock dan beberapa lainnya berada di bawah batas minimum. Sistem yang dibangun juga mempermudah proses pemantauan stok secara real-time melalui menu Sparepart, sedangkan pengendaliannya dilakukan melalui menu Pengendalian Min-Max berdasarkan data penggunaan sparepart. Sistem ini juga dilengkapi notifikasi peringatan saat stok mendekati batas minimum untuk restock dan saat stok melebihi batas maksimum sebagai peringatan overstock, sehingga dapat mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dan terstruktur. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian User Acceptance Test (UAT), sistem memperoleh nilai sebesar 170 poin dari total 175 poin atau sebesar 97%, sehingga aplikasi dinyatakan layak digunakan serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Inefficient spare part inventory management can lead to various issues such as stockouts or overstocking, which disrupt services and reduce customer satisfaction. Kuncoro Motor Workshop still uses a manual system for transaction recording and inventory management, often resulting in challenges related to spare part availability. This study aims to develop a web-based inventory control information system using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL database, implementing the Min-Max method for stock control. The Min-Max method is used to determine minimum and maximum stock levels based on spare part usage data over the past three months, enabling the system to provide more accurate reorder recommendations. The implementation results show that the Min-Max method effectively assists the workshop in optimizing inventory management and minimizing the risks of stockouts and overstock. Prior to applying the Min-Max method, most spare parts did not meet optimal stock levels, with some items experiencing overstock while others were below the minimum threshold. The developed system also facilitates real-time stock monitoring through the Sparepart menu, while inventory control is managed via the Min-Max Control menu based on spare part usage data. The system is also equipped with notification alerts when stock approaches the minimum threshold for restocking or exceeds the maximum limit, serving as an overstock warning. This supports more accurate and structured decision-making. Based on the results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT), the system achieved a score of 170 out of 175 points, or 97%, indicating that the application is feasible and meets user requirements.
