Abstract

Teknologi dan informasi memiliki peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan mutu pendidikan, hal tersebut tidak terlepas dari perkembangan teknologi komputer sebagai media pembeajaran. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan pengamatan pada SDN Girimukti dalam materi pembelajaran organ gerak hewan masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang mana metode ini hanya menampilkan gambar 2D, sehingga kesulitan dalam menyajikan struktur organ gerak hewan secara detail dan realistis. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran terutama dalam hal visualisasi yang berbasis Augmenetd Reality. Perancangan sistem tersebut dirancang serta dibangun dengan menggunakan metode Rational Unified Process (RUP). Penyelesaian masalah menggunakan Algoritma Fast Corner Detection (FCD). Algoritma FCD ini digunakan untuk mendeteksi sudut-sudut dari suatu objek yang dijadikan sebagai marker. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box, White Box, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), dan Pengujian Jarak. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian jarak, algoritma ini mampu mendeteksi marker di dalam ruangan dengan jarak minimal 10 cm dan jarak maksimal 55 cm, sementara diluar ruangan jarak minimal 7 cm dan jarak maksimal 50 cm. Sementara hasil pengujian UAT dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Augmented Reality ini dapat diterima oleh user dengan mendapatkan nilai presentase 94%. Maka kesimpulan penelitian dari aplikasi Augmented Reality pengenalan organ gerak hewan ini dapat diterima user dan dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran alternatif.

Technology and information play a vital role in advancing the quality of education, particularly with the use of computer technology as an instructional tool. Observations and interviews at SDN Girimukti show that, in teaching animal motoric organ material, conventional methods using 2D images are still in use. This condition makes challenging to accurately and realistically depict the structure of animal motoric organs. This study seeks to enhance the learning experience, especially in visualization, by incorporating Augmented Reality (AR). The system is developed using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method. The problem-solving approach uses the Fast Corner Detection (FCD) algorithm. The FCD algorithm is used to detect the corners of an object that serves as a marker. System testing is conducted using Black Box, White Box, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Distance Testing methods. Based on the results of the distance testing, this algorithm is able to detect markers indoors with a minimum distance of 10 cm and a maximum distance of 55 cm, while outdoors the minimum distance is 7 cm and the maximum distance is 50 cm. Meanwhile, the result of the UAT shows that the Augmented Reality application is acceptable for users with percentage score of 94%. The conclusion of this research is that the Augmented Reality application for recognizing animal motoric organs is well-received by users and it can be used as an alternative learning medium.
