Abstract

Praktik pemalsuan beras, seperti pengoplosan dan penggunaan beras berkualitas rendah yang dikemas ulang dengan merek terkenal, telah menjadi masalah serius yang merugikan baik dari segi finansial maupun reputasi. Beras 3N, sebuah merek unggulan dari Desa Sindangagung juga menghadapi tantangan serupa. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan pemilik pabrik Beras 3N, Bapak Onong Sartono, terungkap bahwa pemalsuan produk telah menyebabkan penurunan kepercayaan konsumen dan kerugian finansial. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan sistem pengecekan keaslian produk Beras 3N menggunakan teknologi QR-Code yang dipadukan dengan algoritma Base64. QR-Code, yang mampu menyimpan informasi dalam format dua dimensi, akan digunakan untuk memberikan informasi cepat dan akurat mengenai keaslian produk kepada konsumen. Algoritma Base64 disisipkan untuk proses encoding dan decoding sebagai keamanan data. Admin mengelola data produk, di mana kode produk akan diencode dengan menggunakan algoritma Base64. Sedangkan konsumen melakukan scan QR-Code, kemudian sistem melakukan decode dan menampilkan informasi keaslian produk. Penelitian ini mencakup metode pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, observasi, dan wawancara, serta menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem Rapid Application Development (RAD). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sebesar 85,5%, aplikasi ini dapat digunakan oleh pengguna sebagai alat untuk pengecekan keaslian produk Beras 3N.

The practice of rice adulteration, such as blending and repackaging low-quality rice with well-known brands, has become a serious issue, causing financial and reputational damage. Beras 3N, a premium brand from Desa Sindangagung, faces similar challenges. Interviews with Mr. Onong Sartono, the owner of the Beras 3N factory, revealed that product counterfeiting has led to a decline in consumer trust and financial losses. To address this issue, this research proposes the development of an authenticity verification system for Beras 3N using QR code technology combined with the Base64 algorithm. The QR code, capable of storing information in a two-dimensional format, will provide consumers with quick and accurate product authenticity information. The Base64 algorithm is incorporated for encoding and decoding processes to ensure data security. Admins will manage product data, encoding product codes using the Base64 algorithm. Consumers will scan the QR code, and the system will decode and display the product authenticity information. This research includes data collection methods such as literature studies, observations, and interviews, and utilizes the Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development method. Based on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results, with a score of 85,5%, this application can be used by consumers as a tool for verifying the authenticity of Beras 3N products.
