Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah mempermudah akses, penyimpanan, dan pengunduhan data melalui berbagai media, termasuk website. Namun, hal ini juga meningkatkan risiko pencurian data yang merugikan pemilik data. Keamanan penyimpanan data menjadi sangat penting untuk mencegah kejahatan teknologi informasi. Banyak perusahaan sering mengabaikan keamanan data, padahal hal ini krusial untuk kelangsungan hidup perusahaan dalam persaingan bisnis. Selain itu, banyak pelaku bisnis belum menerapkan sistem informasi yang efektif, sehingga rawan terhadap tindak kecurangan seperti terjadinya manipulasi harga dan nota kosong, seperti yang terjadi pada Toko MMC CCTV yang mengakibatkan customer karena harus membayar mahal dan juga merugikan perusahaan karena merusak citra perusahaan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini dibuat untuk membangun aplikasi pengelolaan transaksi dengan menerapkan Algoritma Caesar Cipher untuk enkripsi dan dekripsi pada QR Code. Enkripsi mengubah data menjadi bentuk yang tidak terbaca untuk melindungi kerahasiaan dan integritas data, sementara dekripsi mengembalikan data ke bentuk aslinya. Algoritma Caesar Cipher menggantikan setiap huruf dengan huruf lain berdasarkan pergeseran tertentu dalam alfabet, sedangkan QR Code memungkinkan penyimpanan informasi secara horizontal dan vertikal untuk penyampaian cepat. Pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan metode RUP (Rational Unified Process) dan untuk menentukan kebutuhan sistem perancangan ini menggunakan UML (Unified Modelling Language). Sistem ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Php dan Java dengan PhpMyAdmin sebagai Database. Berdasarkan pengujian UAT (User Acceptance Test) dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 87,9% menyatakan bahwa Aplikasi Pengelolaan Transaksi di Toko MMC CCTV dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi risiko manipulasi dan kesalahan dalam transaksi.

The rapid development of information technology has made it easier to access, store, and download data through various media, including websites. However, this also increases the risk of data theft, which is detrimental to data owners. Data storage security is very important to prevent information technology crimes. Many companies often ignore data security, even though it is crucial for their survival in a competitive business environment. Additionally, many business people have not implemented effective information systems, making them vulnerable to fraud such as price manipulation and empty receipts, as happened at the MMC CCTV Store. To overcome this problem, this research proposes the development of a transaction management application that uses encryption and decryption of transaction note data with the Caesar Cipher and QR Code algorithms. Encryption converts data into an unreadable form to protect its confidentiality and integrity, while decryption returns the data to its original form. The development of this system uses the RUP (Rational Unified Process) method because it can determine system requirements and the suitability of the system development process at each stage. Additionally, it allows for analysis and design in describing an object-oriented programming architecture, which is necessary for determining the needs of this design system using UML (Unified Modeling Language). This system uses PHP and Java programming languages with PhpMyAdmin as the database. The Caesar Cipher algorithm replaces each letter with another letter based on certain shifts in the alphabet, while the QR Code allows storing information both horizontally and vertically for fast delivery. This application is expected to increase data security and maintain customer trust, as well as reduce the risk of manipulation and errors in transactions at the MMC CCTV Store. It can be concluded that this application is well-received by users, as it has achieved an average user acceptance score of 87.9%.
