Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kendala yang dihadapi siswa kelas V SDN 1 Muncangela dalam pembelajaran menyimak isi cerita fabel, jumlah dari 37 siswa yang dinyatakan tuntas 11 siswa dengan nilai >75. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti menerapkan pembelajaran berbantuan media wayang kartun melalui model paired storytelling untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Rumusan Masalah yang penulis tetapkan di kelas V SDN 1 Muncangela adalah: 1) bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran menyimak cerita fabel berbantuan media wayang kartun melalui model paired storytelling di SDN 1 Muncangela Tahun Ajaran 2023-2024?; 2) bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran menyimak cerita fabel berbantuan media wayang kartun melalui model paired storytelling di SDN 1 Muncangela Tahun Ajaran 2023-2024?; 3) bagaimana hasil pembelajaran menyimak cerita fabel berbantuan media wayang kartun melalui model paired storytelling di SDN 1 Muncangela Tahun Ajaran 2023-2024?. Tujuan Penelitian yang penulis sesuaikan di kelas V SDN 1 Muncangela adalah: 1) untuk mengetahui perencanaan pembelajaran menyimak cerita fabel berbantuan media wayang kartun melalui model paired storytelling di SDN 1 Muncangela Tahun Ajaran 2023-2024.; 2) untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran menyimak cerita fabel berbantuan media wayang kartun melalui model paired storytelling di SDN 1 Muncangela Tahun Ajaran 2023-2024.; 3) untuk mengetahui hasil pembelajaran menyimak cerita fabel berbantuan media wayang kartun melalui model paired storytelling di SDN 1 Muncangela Tahun Ajaran 2023-2024. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik penelitian observasi dan teknik tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran serta hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II dibandingkan siklus I. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan mulai dari perencanaan pembelajaran dari 94 menjadi 96, adanya peningkatan yang dilihat dari menyusun modul ajar dengan kesesuaian rumusan alur tujuan pembelajaran dan apresiasi dari guru, kegiatan pembelajaran dengan metode/model dan alat evaluasi pembelajaran yang dipilih telah sesuai. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dari 91 menjadi 93, adanya peningkatan yang dilihat dari kesesuaian dalam langkah-langkah pembelajaran dan kemampuan mengajar, mampu mengelola kelas dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran. Keaktifan siswa meningkat dari 74 menjadi 80, adanya peningkatan siswa dilihat dari keaktifan, kesungguhan dan partisipasi siswa pada saat pembelajaran. Hasil belajar siswa dari 61 menjadi 88, adanya peningkatan hasil tes siswa dilihat dari siswa sudah bisa menentukan tema dan alur.

This research was motivated by the obstacles faced by fifth grade students at SDN 1 Muncangela in learning to listen to the contents of a fable story. Of the 37 students who were declared complete, 11 students had a score of >75. Therefore, researchers apply learning assisted by cartoon puppet media through the paired storytelling model to improve the quality of the learning process and outcomes in achieving learning objectives. The problem formulation that the author sets in class V at SDN 1 Muncangela is: 1) how to plan learning to listen to fable stories using cartoon puppet media through the paired storytelling model at SDN 1 Muncangela for the 2023-2024 academic year?; 2) how is learning to listen to fable stories assisted by cartoon puppet media using the paired storytelling model at SDN 1 Muncangela for the 2023-2024 academic year?; 3) What are the results of learning to listen to fable stories assisted by cartoon wayang media through the paired storytelling model at SDN 1 Muncangela for the 2023-2024 academic year? The research objectives that the author adapted to class V at SDN 1 Muncangela are: 1) to find out the learning planning for listening to fable stories assisted by cartoon puppet media through the paired storytelling model at SDN 1 Muncangela for the 2023-2024 academic year; 2) to determine the implementation of learning to listen to fable stories assisted by cartoon puppet media through the paired storytelling model at SDN 1 Muncangela for the 2023-2024 academic year; 3) to find out the results of learning to listen to fable stories assisted by cartoon puppet media through the paired storytelling model at SDN 1 Muncangela for the 2023-2024 academic year. The research method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. Observation research techniques and test techniques. The results of the research show an increase in planning and implementation of learning as well as student learning outcomes in cycle II compared to cycle I. This is shown by an increase in learning planning from 94 to 96, an increase seen from compiling teaching modules in accordance with the formulation of the flow of learning objectives and appreciation from the teacher, learning activities with the methods/models and learning evaluation tools chosen are appropriate. Implementation of learning from 91 to 93, there is an increase seen from the suitability of learning steps and teaching abilities, being able to manage the class and evaluate learning. Student activity increased from 74 to 80, an increase in students seen from the activeness, seriousness and participation of students during learning. Student learning outcomes from 61 to 88, there is an increase in student test results as seen from students being able to determine the theme and plot.
