Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya inovasi guru dalam penggunaan bahan ajar media digital. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas bahan ajar media flipbook untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Winduhaji. Jenis penelitian R&D (Research and Development) yang mengacu pada model Borg and Gall, yang meliputi studi pendahuluan, pengembangan, serta pengujian dan diseminasi. Subjek dari uji terbatas terdiri dari dua validator ahli dan satu praktisi, sementara subjek dari uji utama adalah 26 siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Winduhaji, Kecamatan Kuningan, Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi pedoman wawancara, observasi, angket penilaian produk oleh validator ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi, serta angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data hasil penilaian validator menggunakan uji Aikens’V, sedangkan uji efektivitas produk diuji dengan hasil observasi siswa dan di uji - t Paired Sample Test. Hasil uji terbatas menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar media flipbook untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dikategorikan sangat layak digunakan, dengan rerata skor Aiken’s V sebesar 0.93 yang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar media flipbook ini mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung 3,47 yang lebih besar dari ttabel 2,074. Kesimpulannya bahan ajar media flipbook untuk menigkatkan motivasi belajar siswa yang dikembangkan sangat layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

This research is based on low student learning motivation, which is caused by a lack of teacher innovation in the use of digital media. The aim of this research is to develop and test the effectiveness of flipbook media teaching materials to increase the learning motivation of class IV students at SDN 1 Winduhaji. This type of R&D (Research and Development) research refers to the Borg and Gall model, which includes preliminary studies, development, as well as testing and dissemination. The subjects of the limited test consisted of two expert validators and one practitioner, while the subjects of the main test were 26 class IV students at SDN 1 Winduhaji, Kuningan District, Kuningan Regency, West Java. Data collection instruments include interview guides, observations, product assessment questionnaires by material expert validators, media experts and practitioners, as well as student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique resulting from the validator assessment uses the Aikens'V test, while the product effectiveness test is tested using the results of student observations and the Paired Sample Test - t-test. The limited test results show that flipbook media teaching materials to increase learning motivation are categorized as very suitable for use, with an average Aiken's V score of 0.93 which is included in the very high category. The effectiveness test results show that this flipbook media teaching material is able to increase students' learning motivation as evidenced by the tcount value of 3.47 which is greater than ttable 2.074. In conclusion, the flipbook media teaching materials for increasing student learning motivation that were developed are very feasible and effective for increasing student learning motivation.
