Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pembelajaran menyimak teks berita sehingga peserta didik cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami isi berita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi media pembelajaran, analisis kebutuhan, rancangan, dan pengembangan media interaktif berbasis deep learning berbantuan Canva dalam pembelajaran menyimak teks berita. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang dibatasi sampai tahap development. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, dan validasi ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang digunakan di sekolah masih didominasi buku teks dan PowerPoint. Analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa guru dan peserta didik membutuhkan media pembelajaran audiovisual yang interaktif, menarik, dan mudah digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil perancangan, media interaktif berbasis deep learning berbantuan Canva berhasil dibuat sesuai kebutuhan pembelajaran menyimak teks berita yang memuat tujuan pembelajaran, ice breaking, video pembelajaran, contoh analisis teks berita, permainan interaktif, menyimak video berita, kegiatan analisis hasil simakan, kesimpulan, refleksi, daftar pustaka, dan profil pengembang. Hasil validasi menunjukkan persentase kelayakan sebesar 86,7% dari ahli bahasa, 90% dari ahli materi, 84% dari ahli media dan 80% dari ahli model dengan kategori sangat layak. Dengan demikian, media yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran menyimak teks berita siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Bantarujeg.
This research was motivated by the limited use of interactive learning media in learning news text listening skills, causing students to experience difficulties in understanding the content of news texts. This study aimed to determine the condition of learning media, needs analysis, design, and development of Canva-assisted deep learning-based interactive media in learning news text listening skills. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which was limited to the development stage. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and expert validation. The results showed that the learning media used in schools were still dominated by textbooks and PowerPoint presentations. The needs analysis indicated that teachers and students required audiovisual learning media that were interactive, engaging, and easy to use. Based on the design results, interactive media based on deep learning assisted by Canva was successfully created according to the learning needs of listening to news texts which include learning objectives, ice breakers, learning videos, examples of news text analysis, interactive games, listening to news videos, listening results analysis activities, conclusions, reflections, bibliography, and developer profiles. The validation results showed feasibility scores of 86.7% from the language expert, 90% from the material expert, 84% from the media expert, and 80% among model experts, all categorized as highly feasible. Therefore, the developed media was declared suitable for use in learning news text listening skills for eleventh-grade students of SMAN 1 Bantarujeg.
