Abstract

Pengelolaan persediaan di Fajar Toserba Jalaksana saat ini masih mengandalkan metode perkiraan manual sehingga sering terjadi ketidaktepatan jumlah stok, terutama pada produk Indomie Goreng dan Air Mineral. Kondisi ini berpotensi menimbulkan kerugian finansial serta menurunkan kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi peramalan penjualan berbasis web dengan metode Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) untuk menghasilkan prediksi kebutuhan stok yang lebih akurat secara otomatis. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode prototype dengan melibatkan tiga peran pengguna, yaitu karyawan, kepala gudang, dan manajer. Data historis penjualan selama 36 bulan dianalisis sebagai dasar peramalan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai MAPE sebesar 8,85%, yang termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan tingkat akurasi tinggi. Selain itu, pengujian User Acceptance Test (UAT) memperoleh hasil 96,8%, masuk kategori sangat kuat, sehingga sistem diterima dengan baik oleh pengguna. Sistem yang dihasilkan terbukti mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan persediaan, meminimalisir risiko overstock dan understock, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dalam manajemen rantai pasok.

Inventory management at Fajar Toserba Jalaksana currently relies on manual estimation methods, leading to frequent inaccuracies such as stock surpluses and shortages, particularly in Indomie Fried Noodles and Mineral Water products. These inefficiencies have the potential to cause financial losses and decrease customer satisfaction. This study aims to develop a web-based sales forecasting information system using the Double Exponential Smoothing (DES) method to generate more accurate stock demand predictions automatically. The system was developed using the prototype approach, involving three User roles: employees, warehouse managers, and general managers. A total of 36 months of historical sales data were analyzed as the basis for forecasting. The evaluation results showed a MAPE value of 8.85%, indicating very good accuracy, and a User Acceptance Test (UAT) score of 96.8%, classified as very strong. Overall, the developed system successfully improved inventory management efficiency, minimized overstock and understock risks, and supported more accurate decision-making in supply chain management.
