Indonesia termasuk negara termiskin ke-7 hal ini dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya sumber daya manusia. Rendahnya sumber daya manusia bisa menjadi penyebab kemiskinan karena sumber daya manusia yang rendah, cenderung mendapatkan pekerjaan dengan income yang rendah. Terdapat ada asumsi yang menyatakan bahwa atachment itu mempunyai hubungan yang erat dengan self confidence. Tetapi belum diketahui sejauh mana hubungan antara attachment dengan self confidence. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan antara attachment dengan self confidence akademik siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan korelasional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 25 siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Awirarangan. Instrumen yang digunakannya wawancara dan kuesioner digunakan untuk menggumpulkan data. Analisis data ini untuk uji prasyarat menggunkaan Uji Normalitas, Uji Linearitas, dan untuk Uji Hipotesis menggunakan Uji korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Korelasi antara Attachment dengan Self Confidence adalah sebesar 0,42402 dengan rtabel 0,396. Karena rhitung > rtabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang postif antara attachment dengan self confidence akademik.

Indonesia is the 7th poorest country, this is influenced by low human resources. Low human resources can be a cause of poverty because low human resources tend to get jobs with low incomes. In fact, there is an assumption that states that attachment has a close relationship with self-confidence, but it is not yet known to what extent the relationship between attachment and self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between attachment and academic self-confidence of elementary school students. The research method used was quantitative, with a correlational approach. This study involved 25 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Awirarangan. The instruments used were interviews and questionnaires used to collect data. Analysis of this data for the prerequisite test using the Normality Test, Linearity Test, and for the Hypothesis Test using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Test. The results of the study showed that the Correlation between Attachment and Self-Confidence was 0.42402 with rtable 0.396. Because rcount> rtable, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between attachment and academic self-confidence.
