Abstract

Sistem absensi manual yang masih digunakan di PT ASP LAND DEVELOPMENT sering menimbulkan masalah, seperti kecurangan dalam pencatatan kehadiran dan lambatnya proses rekap data. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini membuat aplikasi absensi berbasis mobile dengan penerapan algoritma Haversine untuk memverifikasi lokasi pegawai saat melakukan absensi. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan dengan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD), karena metode ini memungkinkan proses pembuatan sistem dilakukan lebih cepat dan terstruktur. Aplikasi dijalankan pada platform Android untuk pegawai, sedangkan admin menggunakan dashboard berbasis web dengan PHP dan MySQL. Algoritma Haversine digunakan untuk menghitung jarak antara posisi pegawai dan titik koordinat perusahaan dengan batas maksimal 15 meter sebagai validasi kehadiran. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box, White Box, dan User Acceptance Test (UAT). Hasil UAT yang melibatkan 10 responden menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan sebesar 94%, dengan kategori sangat baik, yang berarti aplikasi ini dinilai mudah digunakan, akurat, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, proses absensi di perusahaan menjadi lebih cepat, efisien, dan transparan.

The manual attendance system still used at PT ASP LAND DEVELOPMENT often causes several problems, such as fraud in recording attendance and delays in data recapitulation. To overcome these issues, this study developed a mobile-based attendance application that applies the Haversine algorithm to verify employee locations during attendance. The application was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, as it allows for a faster and more structured system development process. The application runs on the Android platform for employees, while administrators use a web-based dashboard built with PHP and MySQL. The Haversine algorithm is used to calculate the distance between the employee’s location and the company’s coordinate point, with a maximum limit of 15 meters for attendance validation. System testing was carried out using Black Box, White Box, and User Acceptance Test (UAT) methods. The UAT results, involving 10 respondents, showed a satisfaction level of 94%, categorized as very good, indicating that the application is easy to use, accurate, and meets user needs. With this application, the company’s attendance process becomes faster, more efficient, and transparent.
