Abstract

Pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut peserta didik untuk menguasai keterampilan
berpikir tingkat tinggi atau Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), seperti berpikir
kritis, kreatif, dan analitis. Namun, pembelajaran di sekolah dasar masih banyak
didominasi oleh metode konvensional yang tidak mendukung pengembangan
keterampilan tersebut, terutama dalam mata pelajaran IPAS yang merupakan
integrasi dari IPA dan IPS pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Berdasarkan observasi dan
wawancara di SDN 1 Winduhaji, ditemukan bahwa hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik
kelas IV masih rendah dan kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digital
interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Penggunaan
Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (E-LKPD) berbasis HOTS dalam
meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain
Nonequivalent Control Group Design, melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen
yang menggunakan E-LKPD HOTS dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan LKPD
cetak.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes pretest dan posttest
berbentuk soal esai ranah kognitif C4, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis
menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t, dan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest peserta didik kelas
eksperimen adalah 79,26, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang memperoleh
nilai 66,76. Adapun rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen dan kontrol masingmasing sebesar 57,67 dan 55,97. Perhitungan N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan
hasil belajar sebesar 55,7% pada kelas eksperimen (kategori sedang), sedangkan
kelas kontrol hanya mengalami peningkatan sebesar 24,5% (kategori rendah).
Dengan demikian, penggunaan E-LKPD berbasis HOTS terbukti lebih efektif
dibandingkan LKPD cetak dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, serta
menjadi media yang tepat untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi sesuai
dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka.

21st century education requires students to master higher order thinking skills
(HOTS), such as critical, creative and analytical thinking. However, learning in
elementary schools is still dominated by conventional methods that do not support
the development of these skills, especially in science and science subjects which
are an integration of science and social studies in the Independent Curriculum.
Based on observations and interviews at SDN 1 Winduhaji, it was found that the
science and science learning outcomes of class IV students were still low and there
was a lack of use of interactive digital learning media. This research aims to
determine the effectiveness of using HOTS-based Electronic Student Worksheets
(E-LKPD) in improving student learning outcomes in class IV science subjects. The
research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent
Control Group Design, involving two classes, namely an experimental class that
used HOTS E-LKPD and a control class that used printed LKPD. Data collection
techniques were carried out through pretest and posttest in the form of C4 cognitive
domain essay questions and documentation. Data were analyzed using normality,
homogeneity, t-test and N-Gain calculations. The research results showed that the
average posttest score for experimental class students was 79.26, higher than the
control class which scored 66.76. The average pretest scores for the experimental
and control classes were 57.67 and 55.97 respectively. The N-Gain calculation
shows an increase in learning outcomes of 55.7% in the experimental class (medium
category), while the control class only experienced an increase of 24.5% (low
category). Thus, the use of HOTS-based E-LKPD has proven to be more effective
than printed LKPD in improving student learning outcomes, as well as being the
right medium for training high-level thinking skills in accordance with the demands
of the Independent Curriculum.
