This study investigates the impact of the NaturalReader application on students pronunciation proficiency, focus on segmental features such as vowels and consonants. Adopting a quasi-experimental methodology, the study employed two tenth-grade classes in SMAN 1 Ciawigebang: an experimental class with NaturalReader and a control class instructed with teacher directed. Pre-tests and post-tests were given to assess improvement. The average score of the experimental group rose from 48.53 to 83.05, and that of the control group from 44.47 to 66.11. Independent samples t-test also found a significant difference between the two groups (Sig. 2-tailed = 0.000), indicating the success of the application in enhancing pronunciation. A questionnaire further indicated that the students were advantaged by the simplicity of using the application, its use in practice pronunciation, and its ease of learning at any time and location. These findings suggest that NaturalReader can be an effective tool for the facilitation of pronunciation acquisition in EFL contexts, giving students the flexibility to engage with good models of pronunciation.
