Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dalam sistem monitoring persediaan bahan baku. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah pengelolaan stok yang belum optimal, sehingga berdampak pada efisiensi biaya. Penelitian dilakukan melalui studi kasus, observasi, dan wawancara, serta menghasilkan sistem berbasis web yang memantau stok secara real-time dan menampilkan notifikasi otomatis ketika stok mencapai batas minimum. penghitungan EOQ tahun 2024 menghasilkan penghematan biaya sebesar Rp 498.394, dari sebelumnya Rp 1.035.472 menjadi Rp 537.078. Sistem juga membantu menentukan jumlah dan waktu pemesanan yang optimal. Dengan kebutuhan tahunan sebesar 4.994 rim, perhitungan EOQ merekomendasikan pemesanan sebanyak 1.488 rim dapat dipenuhi dengan pemesanan sebanyak 4 kali per tahun. Penerapan metode EOQ terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan persediaan perusahaan.

This study aims to implement the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method in the raw material inventory monitoring system. The main issue faced by the company is the suboptimal stock management, which impacts cost efficiency. The research was conducted through case studies, observations, and interviews, resulting in a web-based system that monitors inventory in real-time and provides automatic notifications when stock reaches the minimum threshold. EOQ calculations for the year 2024 showed cost savings of IDR 498,394, reducing inventory costs from IDR 1,035,472 to IDR 537,078. The system also helps determine the optimal order quantity and reorder timing. With an annual demand of 4,994 reams, EOQ calculations recommend an optimal order quantity of 1,488 reams, fulfilled with four orders per year. The implementation of the EOQ method has proven effective in improving the efficiency of inventory management within the company.
