Abstract

Tuberkulosis (TBC) merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Diagnosis dini sangat penting untuk mencegah penyebaran dan meningkatkan efektivitas pengobatan. Namun, keterbatasan tenaga medis dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap gejala TBC sering menyebabkan keterlambatan diagnosis. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun Sistem Pakar Diagnosis Penyakit TBC Berbasis Web menggunakan metode Certainty Factor (CF) guna membantu tenaga medis dalam menganalisis gejala yang dialami pasien dan menentukan kemungkinan diagnosis secara lebih akurat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Waterfall, yang terdiri dari tahapan analisis, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan database MySQL. Metode Certainty Factor digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kepastian dari setiap gejala yang dialami pasien berdasarkan bobot yang diberikan oleh pakar medis. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan metode White Box dan Black Box Testing untuk memastikan bahwa sistem berfungsi dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa Sistem Pakar Diagnosis Penyakit TBC berbasis web dengan menggunakan metode Certainty Factor (CF) dapat digunakan dengan baik di Puskesmas Luragung.

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that remains a public health problem in Indonesia. Early diagnosis is essential to prevent spread and improve treatment effectiveness. However, limited medical personnel and lack of public awareness of TB symptoms often cause delays in diagnosis. Therefore, this study aims to design and build a Web-based TB Disease Diagnosis Expert System using the Certainty Factor (CF) method to assist medical personnel in analyzing the symptoms experienced by patients and determining the possibility of diagnosis more accurately. This research uses the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system is developed with PHP programming language and MySQL for database. The Certainty Factor method is used to measure the level of certainty of each symptom experienced by patients based on the weights given by medical experts. System testing is carried out using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that the system functions properly. Based on the result of this research, the writers conclude that Web-based TB Disease Diagnosis Expert System using the Certainty Factor (CF) method can be used properly in Puskesmas Luragung.
