Abstract

Pergantian antara penerapan kurikulum 2013 ke kurikulum merdeka di sekolah yang
belum terlaksana secara optimal, baik dari aspek penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran
biologi, seperti modul ajar kurikulum merdeka, pelaksanaan pembelajaran kurikulum
merdeka dan penguatan profil pelajar pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menganalisis problematika yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka
pada pembelajaran biologi di SMA Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel pada
penelitian ini didasarkan pada zona wilayah yaitu daerah perkotaan, menengah dan
pinggiran dengan jumlah sebanyak 6 sekolah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa
kelas X di SMAN Kabupaten Kuningan. Instrumen dalam penelitian yaitu analisis
dokumentasi berupa modul, kuesioner dan wawancara. Data dikumpulkan melalui
wawancara mendalam dengan guru biologi yang mengajar di SMA Kabupaten Kuningan
serta observasi langsung terhadap proses pembelajaran dan asesmen di kelas. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa problematika yang dihadapi oleh guru
dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran biologi di SMA Kabupaten
Kuningan. Beberapa di antaranya adalah keterbatasan sumber daya dan fasilitas,
penyesuaian kurikulum dengan kondisi sekolah dan siswa, serta tantangan dalam
mengembangkan metode pembelajaran dan asesmen yang sesuai dengan Kurikulum
Merdeka. Penemuan ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas
implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Rekomendasi
diberikan untuk mengatasi problematika yang diidentifikasi, termasuk peningkatan
dukungan terhadap guru dalam hal pengembangan profesionalisme, penyediaan sumber
daya yang memadai, serta pelatihan dalam penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang
inovatif dan berorientasi pada kemandirian siswa.

The transition between the implementation of the 2013 curriculum to the independent
curriculum in schools has not been implemented optimally, both in terms of the
preparation of biology learning tools, such as the independent curriculum teaching
module, the implementation of independent curriculum learning and strengthening the
Pancasila student profile. This study aims to analyze the problems faced by teachers in
implementing the Independent Curriculum in biology learning at SMA Kuningan
Regency. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Sampling in
this study was based on the area zone, namely urban, middle and suburban areas with a
total of 6 schools. The population in this study were grade X students at SMAN Kuningan
Regency. The instruments in the study were documentation analysis in the form of
modules, questionnaires and interviews. Data were collected through in-depth interviews
with biology teachers who teach at SMA Kuningan Regency as well as direct observation
of the learning and assessment process in the classroom. The results of the study indicate
that there are several problems faced by teachers in implementing the Independent
Curriculum in biology learning at SMA Kuningan Regency. Some of them are limited
resources and facilities, adjusting the curriculum to school and student conditions, and
challenges in developing learning and assessment methods that are in accordance with the
Independent Curriculum. These findings have important implications for improving the
effectiveness of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at the senior high
school level. Recommendations are provided to address the identified issues, including
increasing support for teachers in terms of professional development, providing adequate
resources, and training in the use of innovative and student-oriented learning methods.
