Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman tumbuhan paku (Pteridophyta). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Stasiun Penelitian Karangsari, Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai (TNGC). Penelitian ini dilakukan selama satu bulan yaitu bulan Desember sampai dengan Januari 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Intensitas Sampling (IS) dengan analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data diolah menggunakan rumus indeks keanekaragaman Shannon Weiner (H'). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor lingkungan di kawasan Stasiun Penelitian TNGC Karangsari sangat baik untuk pertumbuhan kuku. Terdapat 16 jenis tumbuhan paku yang ditemukan pada plot pengambilan sampel di Stasiun Penelitian TNGC Karangsari, terdiri dari enam jenis tumbuhan paku terestrial dan 10 jenis tumbuhan paku epifit. Tanaman paku yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah Cyathea contaminans sebanyak 849 jenis dan yang paling sedikit ditemukan adalah Asplenium scolopendrium sebanyak 3 jenis dan Selaginella deordeleini sebanyak 6 jenis. Tingkat keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan paku-pakuan dihitung dengan menggunakan indeks Shannon Weinner sebesar 1,798 (H') dengan kategori keanekaragaman sedang.

This research was conducted to determine diversity ferns (Pteridophyta). This research was conducted at the Karangsari Research Station, Mount Ciremai National Park (TNGC). This research was conducted for one month, namely December to January 2024. This research used a purposive sampling method with a sampling technique using Intensity Sampling (IS) with data analysis using quantitative descriptive. Data were processed using the Shannon Weiner diversity index formula (H'). The research results show that environmental factors in the TNGC Karangsari Research Station area are very good for nail growth. There were 16 types of ferns found in the sampling plot at the TNGC Karangsari Research Station, consisting of six types of terrestrial ferns and 10 types of epiphytic ferns. The most commonly found ferns were Cyathea contaminans with 849 types and the fewest found were Asplenium scolopendrium with 3 types and Selaginella deordeleini with 6 types. The level of diversity of fern species was calculated using the Shannon Weinner index of 1.798 (H') with the medium diversity category.
