Abstract

Lumut adalah kelompok tumbuhan yang tumbuh pada batang pohon, kayu mati, kayu tua, tanah atau bebatuan pada lingkungan lembab. Pertumbuhannya ada yang menjalar atau menggantung (pleurocarpus) dan ada yang tumbuh tegak (acrocarpus) menyerupai pohon kecil. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode cruising/jelajah pada jalur Lembah Cilengkrang dengan intensitas sampling 5% maka digunakan 40 plot berukuran 20x20 meter, data pada hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus Shannon-Wienner. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan 465 individu lumut dari 12 famili dan 16 spesies, lumut terestrial mendominasi dengan 320 individu lumut dan lumut epifit sebanyak 145 individu lumut. Ditemukan sebanyak 16 spesies, 15 genus, 12 famili dan 7 ordo tumbuhan lumut yaitu ordo Dicranales, Hypnales, Polytrichales, Bryales, Marchantiales, Fissidentales, dan Diphysciales dengan 12 divisi Bryophyta dan 4 divisi Marchantiophyta. Indeks keanekaragaman menunjukkan tingkat keanekaragaman sebesar 2,712 yang dikategorikan sedang. Keanekaragaman lumut dikategorikan sedang dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang mendukung pertumbuhan lumut termasuk naungan. Seperti ada perbedaan antara spesies pepohonan karena beberapa pepohonan memberikan naungan yang lebih terbuka atau tidak begitu rapat. Selain itu, kondisi mikro lingkungan meskipun ada pepohonan di sekitarnya, keanekaragaman lumut dapat dipengaruhi oleh suhu dan kelembapan udara. Ini sesuai dengan rata-rata suhu 27,4 ̊C dan kelembapan 84% di lembah cilengkrang. Jumlah individu lumut pada seluruh populasi kawasan Lembah Cilengkrang sebanyak 9,300 individu, di dominasi oleh famili Dicranaceae. Indeks keanekaragaman lumut dikategorikan pada tingkat sedang dengan nilai indeks sebesar 2,712, hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa lumut yang berada pada kawasan Lembah Cilengkrang cukup beragam.

Mosses are a group of plants that grow on tree trunks, dead wood, old wood, soil or rocks in moist environments. Their growth is creeping or hanging (pleurocarpus) and some grow upright (acrocarpus) resembling small trees. The method used in this research is to use the cruising method on the Cilengkrang Valley route with a sampling intensity of 5%, 40 plots measuring 20x20 meters are used, the data on the research results are analyzed using the Shannon-Wienner formula. The results of the research that has been carried out found 465 individual lichens from 12 families and 16 species, terrestrial lichens dominate with 320 individual lichens and epiphytic lichens as many as 145 individual lichens. Found as many as 16 species, 15 genera, 12 families and 7 orders of moss plants, namely the orders Dicranales, Hypnales, Polytrichales, Bryales, Marchantiales, Fissidentales, and Diphysciales with 12 divisions of Bryophyta and 4 divisions of Marchantiophyta. The diversity index shows a diversity level of 2.712 which is categorized as moderate. Moss diversity categorized as moderate can be caused by several factors that support moss growth including shade. There are differences between tree species as some trees provide more open or less dense shade. In addition, microenvironmental conditions despite the presence of surrounding trees, moss diversity can be affected by air temperature and humidity. This corresponds to an average temperature of 27.4 ̊C and 84% humidity in the cilengkrang valley. The number of moss individuals in the entire population of the Cilengkrang Valley area was 9,300 individuals, dominated by the Dicranaceae family. The moss diversity index is categorized at a moderate level with an index value of 2.712, indicating that the moss in the Cilengkrang Valley area is quite diverse.
