Abstract

Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar ranah kognitif IPA siswa kelas V SDN 2 Cihideunghilir, model pembelajaran belum bervariasi, dan siswa kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan : (1) untuk mendeksripsikan perbedaan antara kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS di kelas V SD Negeri 2 Cihideunghilir, (2) Untuk mendeksripsikan perbedaan peningkatan antara kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS di kelas V SD Negeri 2 Cihideunghilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental dan desain non-equivalent control group. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 2 Cihideunghilir. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 15 soal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS dengan siswa di kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri, (2) Terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran CLIS dengan peserta didik di kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Inkuiri.

The background to this research is the low learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of science for class V students at SDN 2 Cihideunghilir, learning models have not been varied, and students are less active in learning science. This research aims to describe: (1) to describe the differences between the control class using the experimental class inquiry learning model using the CLIS learning model in class V of SD Negeri 2 Cihideunghilir, (2) to describe the differences in improvement between the control class using the inquiry learning model experimental class using the CLIS learning model in class V of SD Negeri 2 Cihideunghilir. This research uses a quantitative method approach with a quasi-experimental research type and a non-equivalent control group design. The variables in this study were class V students at SDN 2 Cihideunghilir. The data collection used in this research was a test instrument in the form of 15 multiple choice questions. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: (1) There is a difference in student learning outcomes in the experimental class which uses the CLIS learning model and students in the control class which uses the Inquiry learning model, (2) There is an increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class which uses the CLIS learning model with students in the control class who use the inquiry learning model.
