ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN LITERASI SAINS DAN METAKOGNITIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI SMA.

Abstract
Literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif memungkinkan siswa memahami dan menghubungkan konsep biologi dengan kehidupan nyata, dan membantu siswa mengendalikan dan mengevaluasi proses berpikir. Karena adanya tuntutan kurikulum merdeka dan keterampilan abad 21 maka proses pembelajaran biologi di sekolah harus mengakomodir literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan literasi sains dan metakognitif dalam pembelajaran biologi di SMA di Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode atau pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, tempat penelitian di 3 SMA di Kabupaten Kuingan yaitu SMAN 1 Pasawahan, SMAN 1 Cidahu, dan SMAN 2 Kuningan, subjek penelitiannya yaitu siswa dan guru biologi di kelas X1, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes literasi sains, tes kemampuan metakognitif, kuesioner MAI, wawancara siswa dan guru, dokumentasi modul ajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi data, persentase hasil tes literasi sains dan metakognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, berdasarkan pemetaan literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif 3 SMA di Kabupaten Kuningan. SMAN 2 Kuningan sudah mengakomodir literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif. Sedangkan, SMAN 1 Pasawahan dan SMAN 1 Cidahu belum mengakomodir literasi sains dan kemampuan metakognitif.

Science literacy and metacognitive skills enable students to understand and relate biological concepts to real life, and help students control and evaluate their thinking processes. Due to the demands of the independent curriculum and 21st century skills, the biology learning process in schools must accommodate science literacy and metacognitive skills. This study aims to analyze science literacy and metacognitive skills in biology learning in high schools in Kuningan Regency. The method used in this study uses a descriptive qualitative method or approach, the research location is in 3 high schools in Kuningan Regency, namely SMAN 1 Pasawahan, SMAN 1 Cidahu, and SMAN 2 Kuningan, the research subjects are students and biology teachers in class X1, data collection techniques used are science literacy tests, metacognitive ability tests, MAI questionnaires, student and teacher interviews, documentation of teaching modules. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation, percentage of science literacy and metacognitive test results. The results of the study show that, based on the mapping of scientific literacy and metacognitive abilities of 3 high schools in Kuningan Regency. SMAN 2 Kuningan has accommodated scientific literacy and metacognitive abilities. Meanwhile, SMAN 1 Pasawahan and SMAN 1 Cidahu have not accommodated scientific literacy and metacognitive abilities.
