Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara interaksi teman sebaya
terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan
kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar
kelas V SD Negeri 1 Ciporang dengan populasi dengan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa.
Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah interaksi teman sebaya dan kecerdasan emosional.
Dalam pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dalam bentuk skala
Guttman dan angket kuesioner dalam bentuk skala Likert. Teknik analisis menggunakan
uji normalitas, uji korelasi Product Moment dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil analisis
data menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara interaksi
teman sebaya terhadap kecerdasan emosional siswa yaitu r sebesar 0,8598 pada taraf
hubungan sangat kuat.

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer interaction and emotional
intelligence of elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a
correlational method. The subjects of this study were fifth grade elementary school students
of Elementary School 1 Ciporang with a population of 30 students. The variables in this
study were peer interaction and emotional intelligence. In data collection, this study used
observations in the form of a Guttman scale and a questionnaire in the form of a Likert
scale. The analysis technique used the normality test, the Product Moment correlation test
and the coefficient of determination test. The results of the data analysis showed that there
was a positive and significant relationship between peer interaction and students'
emotional intelligence, namely r of 0.8598 at a very strong relationship level.
