Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis, manfaat dan menganalisis asal tumbuhan obat yang di perdagangkan di Pasar Kepuh Kabupaten Kuningan. Tumbuhan obat merupakan hasil hutan bukan kayu yang merupakan bagian penting dari warisan pengetahuan tradisional masyarakat indonesia yang berperan dalam menjaga kesehatan secara alami. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan dengan metode accidental sampling, wawancara dilakukan dengan semi-terstruktur terhadap 30 pedagang dan dokumentasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan obat yang di temukan. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan mencari informasi tentang jenis tumbuhan, manfaat tumbuhan obat, dan fungsi dalam pengobatan tradisional. hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat 4 jenis tumbuhan obat dengan 4 famili dan tumbuhan obat yang digunakan sebagai bahan baku jami ditemukan sebanyak 12 jenis dengan 6 famili. Tumbuhan obat paling banyak di hasilkan dari budidaya dan kiriman luar daerah seperti Brebes, Majalengka, Talaga dan Ciebon. Jenis tumbuhan obat yang paling banyak dijual adalah jahe (Zingiber officinle), sereh (Cymbopogon citratus), kencur (Kaempferia galanga), jeruk nipis (Catrus aurantfolia swing), lengkuas (Alpinia galanga), kunyit (Curcuma longa), salam (Syzigium polyantum). Tumbuhan obat yang di temukan digunakan untuk mengobati rematik, flu, sakit gigi, campak, sakit perut, gangguan menstruasi, memperlancar asi, kolestrol,asma, sakit badan, batuk, memar, nyeri haid, demam, diare, menyambuhkan liver. Tumbuhan obat ini berdampingan dengan pohon tahunan seperti jati, alpukat, petai, cengkeh, dan pala. Proses panen tumbuhan obat dilakukan waktu yang sudah ditentukan seperti jahe, kunyit dan temulawak di panen setelah 8-10 bulan masa tanam, sedangkan sereh dan kencur di panen setelah 4-6 bulan masa tanam. pola distribusi tumbuhan obat di Pasar Kepuh dilakukan secara random tanpa bergantung pada satu pengepul utama.

This study aims to determine the types, benefits and analyze the origin of medicinal plants traded in Kepuh Market, Kuningan Regency. Medicinal plants are on-times forest products which plays a role in maintaining health naturally. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observation with the accidental sampling mothod, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 30 traders and documentation of the types of medicinal plants faund. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by seeking information about the types of plants, the benefite of medical plants, and their functions in traditional medicine, the results of the study showed tht there were 4 types of medicinal plants with 4 families and medical plant used us raw materials for jami were found as many as 12 types with 6 families. The most medicinal plant are produced from cultivation and shipments from outside the region such a Brebes, Majalengka, Talaga and Cirebon. The types of medicinal plants that are most widely sold are ginger (Zinngiber officinalis), lemongrass (Cymbopogon catratus), kencur (Kaempferia galanga), lime (Catrus aurantfolia swing), galangal (Alpina galanga), turmeric (Curcuma longa), bay leaves (Syzigium polyantum). The medicinal plants fiund are used to treat rheumatism, flu, toothache, measles, stomachache, menstrual disorders, smooth breast milk, cholestrol, asthma, body aches, coughs, bruises, menstrual pain, fever, diarrhea, and cure the liver. These medicinal plants coexist with perennial trees such as teak, avucado, petai, clove, and turmetic and temulawak which ar harvested after 8-10 mounts of planting, while lemongrass and galangal are hervested after 4-6 mounts of planting. The distribution pattern of medicinal plants at Kepuh Market is crried out randomly without relying on one main collector.
